Global Music Group in Tennessee purchased Death Row Records June 24 in an auction for $24 million. The purchase included the music catalog, and any outstanding recording contract.

Death Row’s former CEO Suge Knight filed for bankruptcy in 2006 after not being able to pay off a $107 million debt to his former partners.
