MICHAEL JACKSON’S ALLEGED HIT-AND-RUN VICTIM SEES DOCTOR FOR HEAD INJURY

The ambulance driver allegedly struck by MICHAEL JACKSON’s chauffeur is due to undergo treatment for head injuries related to the incident. The singer’s driver is accused of sideswiping an ambulance and breaking off its wing mirror as he went to pick up Jackson at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday (22Apr09). Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Jamin Mauro claims he had parked the ambulance in an alleyway outside the hospital and was eating lunch in the vehicle with his partner when a dark blue Escalade struck the driver’s side door. The pair allegedly watched as the man behind the wheel jumped out and walked to the building’s entrance to greet Jackson, who climbed into the back of the waiting car, before they sped off. The technicians will see doctors on Thursday (23Apr09), with Mauro claiming the collision caused his head to strike the driver’s side window and gave his partner head and elbow injuries. Beverly Hills Police have confirmed a hit-and-run accident occurred at around 3.20pm (local time) involving “a dark coloured SUV” that was “being followed by a group of paparazzi at the time of the collision…” The reason behind Jackson’s hospital visit was unknown as WENN went to press, but the singer, who was wearing a surgical mask during the trip, has been plagued by rumours of ill health for months. Among the ailments internet gossips claim Jackson is suffering from are a flesh-eating infection and a deadly lung condition known as Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (A1AD). Meanwhile Jackson’s spokesperson has issused a statement assuring fans the star was not directly involved in the collision, telling TMZ.com: “He is doing fine. M.J. is okay; it was not bad.” – WENN

Lil Boosie Busted for Assault

Rapper LIL BOOSIE has been arrested for assault following an alleged brawl at his Louisiana home.
The hip-hop star – real name Torrance Hatch – was taken into custody on Wednesday (22Apr09) after an incident at his Baton Rouge residence last week (12Apr09).
The Wipe Me Down hitmaker is alleged to have assaulted an unidentified man during a row over a necklace.
The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries, said to be sustained after he was struck with a vase during the brawl, according to AllHipHop.com.
Hatch has been charged with second degree battery.
The rap star was previously arrested in October (08) following an incident in Baton Rouge which saw him hauled into court on drug possession charges, as well possessing a firearm and resisting arrest. - WENN

Court says Lil Wayne can’t stop his documentary

Rap superstar LIL WAYNE has lost his court battle to block the release of a documentary about his life.
The Lollipop hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., filed suit against film executives at Quincy Jones III’s QD3 Entertainment, alleging they reneged on a deal to give the star final approval on the movie, titled The Carter, before its release.
The documentary, which was directed by Adam Bhala Lough, was well received by critics when it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah earlier this year (09).
However, Carter’s representatives denounced the project as a “scandalous portrayal” of the MC, reportedly taking issue with scenes showing his alleged drug use.
Wayne subsequently sued for fraud and breach of contract after moviemakers failed to adhere to his demands to remove the controversial footage.
But the rapper has failed in his bid to ban the film’s release - Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Mink denied Wayne’s request for a preliminary injunction this week (begs20Apr09), leaving QD3 bosses free to shop around for a distribution deal, reports Variety.
And Jones III is delighted with the news: “We’re very pleased with the court’s decision. We made a great film, which was incredibly well received at Sundance, and showcases Lil Wayne’s extraordinary talent.”

C-Murder’s lawyers cut him loose for non-payment

Rapper C-MURDER has been dropped by his legal team ahead of his upcoming murder trial – amid allegations he failed to pay his lawyers thousands of dollars in fees.
C-Murder- real name Cory Miller – was originally convicted of shooting and killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas during an altercation in a Louisiana nightclub in 2002.
His attorney, Ron Rakosky, had the guilty verdict overturned in Louisiana SupremeCourt in 2006, after proving prosecutors had expunged the records of several witnesses to boost their credibility, according to AllHipHop.com.
A new trial is scheduled to go ahead in August (09), but the website reports that Rakosky has filed papers asking to be removed as Miller’s counsel, claiming the star has not paid him for hundreds of hours work over the past three years.
Miller recently risked violating a court-imposed gagging order by speaking out about the trial, declaring his innocence in an interview with the website: “As the evidence shows, I am innocent!… As my day in court approaches, my family and I pray and are confident I will be acquitted and cleared of all alleged incidents.” Miller’s murder trial is scheduled to begin on 3 August (09).  - courtesy of WENN

Eminem’s mom’s dying wish is to squash their feud

EMINEM’s dying mother DEBBIE MATHERS is begging the rapper to end their decade-long feud.
The pair has been battling for years; Eminem, real name Marshal Mathers III, has rapped about raping and killing his mum, prompting her to try and sue him for slander and write revenge book My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting the Record Straight on My Life as Eminem’s Mother.
But Debbie is seriously ill after undergoing heart surgery and is desperate to reconcile with her 36-year-old son and his 13-year-old daughter Hailie before she dies.
Her mother Betty Kresin tells the National Enquirer, “My daughter Debbie is very sick. Her dying wish is to reconcile with her son and see her granddaughter. It’s do or die and Marshall needs to see her before it’s too late.
“She needs heart bypass surgery and she should weigh about 120 pounds, but she’s some 50 pounds below that. Her breast cancer is in remission, but I’m really scared for her.
