His laid back flow and production have made him an undisputed Hip-Hop legend, but those attributes and accomplishments have and always will certify multi-platinum rapper and producer, Warren G as a West Coast icon.

Warren G exploded out of the burgeoning Long Beach rap scene in 1994 and while many of his West Coast contemporaries such as Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Snoop signed record deals with LA’s Death Row Records, Warren G took an alternative route and signed with Def Jam in New York, quickly proving he had something remarkable up his sleeve.  His 1994 debut album, Regulate…G Funk Era, certified Warren G as a multi-platinum internationally acclaimed artist, selling over 10 million units worldwide.  He also received multiple award nominations (Grammy, American Music, Soul Train) for his smash hit “Regulate.”

With seven LP’s (his reunion disc with Snoop and Nate Dogg 213′ The Hard Way was released in 2004 and quickly went Gold) already under his belt, Warren G will release his sixth solo LP, Tha G Files, on 9-29-09 (an entirely self-produced effort) and it features the Snoop Dogg assisted lead-single, “Swagger Rich.”

Underground Hip hop group the 67 Mob emerged on the scene circa 2005 performing in legendary underground spots like the Pyramid, Remote Lounge and Club Snitch and immediately drew attention as soon as they touched the stage. Delivering punchlines and flows to even the toughest of skeptics and earning their respect. The Mob then almost as suddenly as they had emerged on the underground scene seemed to have vanished.

What wasn’t immediately seen is that the group retreated back to their home base of Bensonhurst Brooklyn to plan their take over of Hip Hop. With a newly built studio and newly imprinted Independent label, 67 Records LLC, the group looked to work with only one exclusive producer for their debut and Wu Tang alumni producer Bronze Nazareth answered the call. Although they chose to work only with one producer “Rasing the Bar” features a veritable who’s who of the Hip hop community.

67 Mob have had the honor and privilege to work with hip hop legends that include, Bronze Nazareth, Mastah Killa, Phillie, Cool G Rap, Sean Price, AZ, BuckShot, Canabis, Planet Asia, Buckshot, Killah Priest and Reggae Legend Cutty Ranks. Cutty features on the title track single “Raising the Bar” the link for the video is included below.  ”Raising the Bar” the album is set for release on September 29, 2009 and is sure to be an event that will leave wack hip hop music sleeping with the fishes

Rapper COREY MILLER faces a mandatory life sentence after a jury in New Orleans, Louisiana found him guilty of second-degree murder.
Miller, formerly known as C-Murder, had been charged with killing a teenager in a New Orleans nightclub in 2002.
He was convicted in 2003 and handed a life sentence, but it was overturned in 2006 after he had spent three years in a Louisiana prison.
A new trial was granted based on claims prosecutors improperly withheld criminal background information on three of their witnesses.
The second round of court proceedings started last week (05Aug09), with the jury retiring to decide its verdict on Monday (10Aug09).
But after just three hours of deliberating, the panel of seven women and five men returned to the courtroom to tell Judge Hans Liljebery that they had failed to come to a decision and were deadlocked over a verdict.
The judge ordered the jury back into deliberation, insisting they should spend more time discussing the case.
On Tuesday (11Aug09), the jury handed down a second guilty verdict.
A defence motion for a mistrial was denied by the judge.
